The annual Montessori for Social Justice Conference brings Montessori teachers, administration, and parents together for four days to dismantle racism and bias in our school communities.
The conference kicks off with two half-day optional retreats at noon on Thursday, June 22nd: Montessorians of the Global Majority, and, Affinity Retreat and a De-Centering Whiteness Retreat. Friday's optional sessions include a day of service, and a tour of our host school: Near North Montessori School, one of the largest Montessori schools in the country.

The formal program begins Friday afternoon and runs through Sunday morning.
We will bring the stories, leaders, and resources of our Montessori community together in one place for an important and necessary gathering. Stay tuned for detailed information on the keynotes and workshops.

We have arranged a special; conference rate of $239 at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Chicago. The Hyatt is a short walk to the elevated train that will take you to Near North Montessori.
